Most Wonderful Time Of The Year... To Break Up.

after-a-fight

Attn: All men and Women in an average ass, hopeless relationship…

The clock is ticking. You have until Wednesday to save your ass. Plenty of people have been lingering in half-assed relationships for months now.

Maybe it’s a summer love you thought had legs that just ended up dragging out… Next thing you know it’s Nov. 19th.

Maybe it’s someone you reeled in during the cuffing season tryout period…

Maybe this person was a beacon of hope that couldn’t stand the test of time.

Either way, you’re unhappy. It’s ok. It happens to the best of us. Does that mean you should be complacent for the sake of the other persons’ feelings?

Fuck no!

Get it over with. Buck up and have the talk. Say whatever you have to. I think honesty is your best option. In the end, it’s a learning experience for both of you. If you lie, you run the risk of not giving your soon to be ex a chance to reflect and grow. If you don’t have the balls to be honest, hit them with the classic “If you want me to work on us, You have to let me… Work on me.”

If you’re an average dude in your 20’s/early 30’s and you somehow landed a sexy ass woman you have nothing in common other than a steady routine of outstanding sex… This is what we call an adult defining moment. Breaking up with a sexy woman you enjoy sleeping with,  but constantly argue or generally don’t get along with is as big boy as it gets.

The issue here is if you puss out and don’t pull the rip cord you’re stuck til March! What are you gonna do? Break up before Christmas? Dick move. Can’t break up between Christmas and New Years. Possible small window in Jan. Unfortunately with your luck, your partners birthday is mid-Jan. Then Valentine’s day comes in real hot. Realistically if you don’t grow a pair this week, you’re fucked til March.

How valuable is your time? You better go take a long look in the mirror. Not everything is worth saving. Sometimes cutting your losses is the move. It’s whats best for everyone long term.

Now go be selfish and save yourself this holiday season!

YP, JB and I  discussed the topic earlier on the Shaun Latham Show.
