NOLA- A man accused of threatening to blow up Willie’s Chicken Shack Tuesday night (Nov. 13) claimed to police when confronted about the allegation that his words were merely a reference to a bowel movement, the man’s warrant states. Arthur Posey, 30, was booked on charges in connection to a bomb threat after his story was not corroborated with the restaurant’s employees, New Orleans police wrote in the warrant. Shortly after police were made aware of the bomb threat at the Canal Street restaurant, an officer confronted Posey inside a business in the next block, where the officer saw Posey enter. Posey claimed to the officer he told a male employee he was going to “’blow the bathroom up,’ in reference to a bowel movement,” the warrant states. However, police say a Willie’s Chicken Shack employee told officers “Mr. Posey never told him anything about a bathroom.” Posey faces two counts of communicating of false information of planned arson. Orleans Parish Magistrate Judge Harry Cantrell on Wednesday appointed the Orleans Public Defender’s Office to represent Posey. He scheduled a mental competency hearing for Nov. 29 in the case.

Classic mix up here. I believe him yo. I don’t know why but I do. You can choose to think this guy was threatening something heinous but not me. Nope I won’t be roped into the the Fake News narrative that other news outlets are running with regarding this story. He wasn’t saying he was gonna blow up the restaurant bathroom with a bomb. He was saying he was gonna blow up the restaurant with the giant shit he was gonna take from all the food he ate. That’s the most relatable thing of all time. The people who are saying he called in a bomb threat have clearly never consumed so much food to the point where the only way to explain the upcoming bowel movement is through explosives imagery. In fact, people who haven’t done that to themselves on many occasions cannot be trusted. Eat until you’re gonna explode before you pass judgement of others who have.

The restaurant needs to to look at what he said for what it is, a compliment. There’s no greater compliment a food establishment can receive than, “Wow that food was so good that it’s going to cause me to take a giant shit and blow up your bathroom with my fecal matter.” That’s all the guy was saying. Most chefs would kill for that type of compliment and this place is trying to press charges? Get it together. Learn how to recognize when someone is complimenting you. Idiots.
