I never know what the end game is for these videos. Yeah, he did a cool stunt and he got Red Bull brand exposure, but so what? They can’t possibly be making enough money to cover their costs. It takes way too much rigging and planning and personnel to successfully pull off a stunt of this magnitude. They’re filming and editing the whole thing too, which his super expensive. Then again, a can of Red Bull costs about five bucks and they sell over six billion of them a year, so I guess they have the money. Maybe they just do it for fun.
To their credit it was very well done. They had every nauseating angle covered.
How these guys don’t blow chunks is beyond me. I used to want to do stuff like this until I threw up on “The Zipper” in eighth grade. Ever since then I haven’t been able to turn upside down without getting violently ill. Guess I’ll stick to blogging. Much lower death rate than sky diving too. To each their own.
