The Eagles Are Officially Embarrassing And/Or Dogshit

Are the Eagles a horrible team? I don’t…think so. They’re banged up and still can make things happen at times. But they’re certainly not good, and losing at home to this Dallas Cowboys team with Bum Prescott on national TV means they’re officially embarrassing and/or dogshit. Those are straight facts.

And that’s how this shitty season goes. In case you haven’t noticed, that’s 3 straight home losses for the Eagles who were 7-1 at the Linc last season (only loss was meaningless Week 17 game vs Cowboys). This game was bullshit from the jump. Zero offense – 6 points? That’s all we got was 6 goddamn first half points? Suspect defense – 3rd and 15 with a min left and we can’t stop DIDDLY! And Doug Pederson with some questionable stuff going for it 4th and a long 1 down 3-0 at the Dallas 21. That situation probably should’ve resulted in a FG attempt 100% of the time, but hey, when you live by Doug’s balls you gotta die by Doug’s balls, too. Could’ve done with a better playcall or have had Adams actually hit the hole up the gut instead of dancing his pants off, but can’t win ‘em all. Or any.

This team has lost its “It” factor. The Eagles win this game, as well as 2 or 3 other losses this year. Carson Wentz threw what might been the worst play of his career on his first INT that led to a Dallas FG. Like, no hyperbole. It was God awful. The shittiness of this soft Eagles defense has been evident all season, but what happen to, well, ANY turnovers? 0 takeaways this game by the Birds. Kamu Grugier-Hill had one of the easiest pick-6’s in NFL history go right in his hands in the first half. You win this game if plays like that are made.

But they weren’t. Hey, at least this regular season win to get the Cowboys to 4-5 will ensure Jason Garrett’s HC tenure in Dallas through at least 2034, amiright? Right???? This just sucks. Also, if the hapless Cowboys are doing this to the Eagles defense now then next wk the Saints may put up 100. I wish that’s an exaggeration. It isn’t.

Get it together. Until then, cue the Jimmy Butler highlights.
