Tonight At RNR 6 I Will Be In A Harold Lederman Role, Scoring The Fights Live Ringside
Tomorrow, I’m headed down to Orlando to hang with my pals Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, and Scott Hall down for the nWo Reunion, so earlier this week I approached Dave and let him know that I’d be there on Saturday morning, and asked if he’d like me to just hop on an earlier flight and somehow incorporate me in Rough N Rowdy 6 tonight. Instantly, he seemed pretty keen to that idea, so I booked my flight and got to work with Big Cat figuring out what my role could be.
We’ve played with the idea of getting athletic commissions to clear me as a cornerman, or having a pre/post-fight show hosted by me, but most of the shit we’ve come up with just don’t have juice worth the squeeze, so we scrap ‘em.
Tonight, though, I think we may have found a peculiar-enough spot on the broadcast for me that it just may be the one. Let’s hope so, at least!
Recommended by none other than “Big Brown” Brendan Schaub, I’ll be sitting ringside and scoring each and every fight at RNR 6 in real time, as well as keeping track of the Florida/Georgia tally all night, and Big Cat and Dave will have the ability to throw to me on commentary for a third opinion whenever they may need one.
