A Badass General Fires Back Against The Taliban And Motivates The Shit Out Of His Troops

02:25 – LATE KATE & THE PAGE 11: Apparently I’ve been ‘late’ to the show a few times & believe a Code Red has been ordered against me whereas Chaps & Cons simply cannot handle the truth. Also, I decide not to fraternize with Jake Gyllenhaal at The Headstrong gala even though I totally could have.

06:41 – GENERAL SCOTT MILLER & THE INSIDER ATTACK: The Taliban claims they tried to kill him, but Gen. Miller says it was just a coincidence & seemed remarkably unfazed. Either way, cooool as a cucumber he drew his sidearm & fought back. We talk about seeing ‘unicorns’ – verrrry high ranking officers doing actual grunt work – & how strange, awesome & inspiring that is to see.

13:18 – VOTING DAY (IN AFGHANISTAN): The General Miller story reminded me of voting day in Marjah, Afghanistan 2010 & I take a trip down memory lane to what a hazy, eerie day of ill-aimed attacks it was.

16:40 – NEW BLUES: Women Marines have a new Dress Blues uniform so they’ll be able to look badass like the males instead of like glorified flight attendants. I’m jazzed for ‘em.

19:44 – CATFISHING PRISONERS & POOR PURCHASES: We talk about the rough life choices our lower enlisted make when their out on their own with a solid paycheck for the first time… Among those things, getting catfishes by South Carolina prisoners where they get conned into sending money after receiving nudes. Yikes!

27:21 – HELP FOR AIRMEN @ TYNDALL: The AFB was absolutely obliterated during Hurricane Michael & that included base housing for military families. Hear how you can help (or click HERE).

28:29 – WEST POINT FOOTBALL RECAP: Cons tells us why he thinks a player for Miami of Ohio made a bad judgement call that cost them the game. As an officer, he found a way to circle this back to leadership. Booooo!
