Wake Up With A Massive Barry Bonds Home Run In The World Series

This may be one of my favorite Bonds home runs ever. I just wish we had a clear camera angle of where it actually went. This ball had to be 500+ feet. This was in Game 2 of the 2002 World Series between the Giants and Angels, a World Series where the Giants would ultimately come up short. You may ask how he did in this seven game series against the Angels, he only went 8/17 with 8 runs, two doubles, four homers, six RBI, 13 walks, seven IBB, and a .471 average. Laughable stats, probably should have been MVP of the series even though his team lost.
Hard to believe that this was the only World Series appearance Bonds made, but he made Game 2 a memorable one. Giants were down two in the top of the 9th with two outs, Troy Percival on the mound looking to close it out. 1-0 count and Percival delivers a 96 MPH fastball over the heart of the plate, Bonds literally tried to hit it into Disney Land, he almost did that. Like I said above, this ball was an EASY 500 feet, and like the rest of his home runs, he made it look so easy. Just look how high that ball was too, Joe Buck doesn't bother to wait for it to come down, he calls it and is ready to get to the next at-bat by the time Bonds is rounding first.
I was reading an article and they said it was hard to judge the actual distance because so few people saw where it actually landed. Stadium full of people and it was so high and far people couldn't find it. That's Paul Bunyan type shit. My favorite part of the video is Tim Salmon in the Angels dugout looking like he just saw a ghost, you can read his lips when he says "that is the farthest ball I've ever seen hit."
