Amari Cooper Is Such An Enigma I Can't Figure Out If He's Good Or Bad But I Want Him Anyway
That my friends is the most Amari Cooper tweet of all time. I, nor anyone else in the world, has been able to solve the enigma that is Amari Cooper. I cannot tell you how many times I’ve started Cooper in DFS because he has to break out. He has to have a 100 yard game and just burn defenses and put CBs in his back pocket. And then he goes out there anddddd just stinks it up. He’ll go 8 games in a row with like 3 catches for 40 yards and then randomly pop off for 200. He’s so god damn frustrating. Look at his numbers from this first 8 games of 2016:

And then all of last season- battled injuries but still put up 7 TDs. Always was like “oh man he’s healthy this week, he’s gonna go off”…and then he wouldn’t.

But then he came into this season healthy with a more experienced Derek Carr ready to prove why he was a top pick. I could not have been higher on him. I was like this is when Cooper puts it all together and becomes one of the best WRs in the game. Andddddd…..
And he is officially the most frustrating player in the league. I don’t know why I want him to be good so badly, I have zero reason to care if he’s good or not, I just always really wanted him to be and instead he is the bane of everyone who plays DFS existence. Because you know the one week you don’t play him he’s going to go 10/120/2. You just know it.
So all that being said, I want Amari on the Redskins.
To put it kindly, our WR crop stinks on ice right now. Josh Doctson is teetering on being an all time bust. I don’t know what happened to Jamison Crowder but he hasn’t taken the next step and sometimes gets absolutely lost out there. I’ve quit liked what I’ve seen from Paul Richardson, but he’s not a true #1 (at least right now), even though he is a freak. Adding an Amari Cooper would pay tons of dividends. I don’t want to completely give up on Doctson, but if we’re going to make a big push for the NFC East and Amari is available, you have to take a big, long look at him. Shit, I’m not even opposed to Dez at this point. Actually. For real. We need an upgrade at WR and if they are available for a reasonable price, the Skins have to try. Maurice Harris ain’t going to cut it. I’m all in on trading for Amari Cooper. Hopefully the Skins are too.
