Saquon Barkley Is Good At Football
Please excuse me as I write one last positive blog about the Giants as their season bleeds out on national TV while everyone watching chimes in on how much my team sucks. But holy fuck Saquon Barkley is good. I know that seems like a silly thing to mention, but every time I turn on a TV or go on Twitter, I see people pick apart Saquon because of his position. And I get it. I was on the record saying I wanted the Giants to pick a QB at 2 if they believed in one because that is by farrrrr the most important position in sports. But they didn’t and here we are.
However, instead of acknowledging how awesome Saquon is at playing professional football, people are cherry picking stats and try to convince the world he is actually bad. Talking about how he only makes big plays like those are a bad thing and only mentioning his rushing stats behind a shitty offensive line, which is still a 4.3 yards per carry average. Oh yeah and he catches the shit out of the ball. He was 7th in the league in yards from scrimmage before the night and should move up that list since he already has more than 200 yards while writing this blog. He also gets bonus points since pretty much everything else about the Giants offense is unwatchable right now. Yet people still spend their time trying to dissect why THAT fucking freak of nature isn’t good. What a miserable existence. And trust me, I know a thing or two about misery as a Giants fan that has watched these last few season. In fact the Eagles are marching down the field once again as I write this. Fuck my life. Can’t wait for every QB taken in the first round of this draft to make the Hall of Fame in 20 years. Fuck.
At least Odell didn’t do anything that’s going to take over every form media tomorrow.
