Cuncel Da Saeson
Well that was a fun 2018 season while it lasted. Actually no it wasn’t. The Texans game was pretty cool I guess. And Saquon being everything that was promised and more is the most fun I’ve had watching a football player in years. But other than that, this season has sucked just like the season before it did. Bad blocking, awful QB play, the defense inevitably collapsing because they have to shoulder the entire load, and every time a punt happens on either side of the ball, I expect something awful to happen. We thought things would change with a few signings and draft picks, but it’s more of the same, instead with some pretty awesome Saquon highlights mixed in. Lets watch those one more time, because they were the only non-depressing parts of the night.
Holy fuck that guy is good.
However I have to cuncel because I have to save myself from my dumb brain that somehow convinced itself that the Giants would bounce back against it’s rival that has owned their souls the last 4 seasons because of a late drive in Carolina and the black sheep of the team getting cut earlier in the week. Instead it was nothing but check downs, Eli getting plastered, chunk plays through the air for the opponent, and everything that has driven Giants fans INSANE the last few years. Pack Saquon and Odell in bubble wrap and lets move on to 2019, because I was holding my breath every time they got the ball once it was clear this game/season was over. Just an absolute nightmarish 48 hours for the prototypical Yankees + Giants fans. Shout out to the Mets for making it clear to me that they weren’t doing shit this season back in June.

On the bright side, at least Odell gave everyone something to talk about tomorrow instead of focusing how this team is hot garbage.
I’ll admit Odell leaving the field sucked if for nothing else because of the shitstorm I knew it would cause. Turns out this was the reason, I guess? Pat Shurmur doesn’t seem to like making excuses for anybody.
I saw tweets about him losing his mind and fighting an air conditioner and THAT was the video clip they were talking about. No matter what that guy does, he will never win in the court of public opinion. Not doing that stuff would shut the haters up. But that’s clearly not Odell’s M-O.
Anyway, we are onto Kevin Durant Recruiting Season as well as Justin Herbert Scouting Season.

See you guys in 2019. Hopefully we make it to Halloween before the season is over with a new starting quarterback and right side of the line. Not holding my breath though.
