Uber Is Giving Free Rides To Polling Locations On Voting Day Like A Bunch Of Idiots

The ride-sharing service Uber is offering customers free rides to the polls Nov. 6.

To get a ride on Election Day, users can simply click a button labeled “Get to the polls” on Uber’s smartphone application.

“Using our technology and resources, we can help make it easier for every Uber rider in the U.S. to get to their polling place at the push of a button,” the company’s CEO, Dara Khosrowshahi, wrote on his blog. “We’re also partnering with nonprofit organizations to register voters before state deadlines and provide free rides to the polls on November 6.”

What a bunch of idiots! Anybody with a brain does early voting. You dont have to wait in a long as line and they usually have snacks. I mean, it’s like mints and shit so really just candy but still. If you wait until actual voting day, grow up.

That being said, I’m gonna use this Uber perk for a free ride to the ole Library. It’s gonna feel good surfing the web right by Charles while he constantly gets blocked from sites that are too pornographic in nature. Warning after warning goes unheeded. It’s sad really but the workers are kind. They let him be as long as he keeps his boner to a minimum. I’ll probably check out some books too. There’s a couple new thrillers by Brad Thor that I’ve been wanting to read and there is no time like voting day to do that. Spies? Russia? Possible ties to the Mob? Buddy, say no more.

My library also has books on tape which is a real steal. You wanna listen to To Kill A Mockingbird? They have like 6 copies. I just come home, download those CDs to my computer and send them to my friends via dropbox. If you want some of these books, let me know. They are completely free. Incredible.

Fucking Uber. Giving rides out to polling stations like the Library like everybody isnt gonna take advantage of that. Stinks if your location is at like an elementary school though. You head up there for no reason and you look like a real perv.
