Josh Norman Has Had Better Days

It hasn’t been the best 24 hours for Josh Norman, to say the least.

First he was benched.

Then he couldn’t get his jersey off.

Then DeAngelo Hall called him out for his work ethic.

And then to top it off he was bullied by Michael Thomas on Twitter.

Josh Norman has been pretty good during his tenure in DC. Last night he was awful. Toast city. I haven’t watched the All-22 so I don’t know how they were when matched up 1 on 1, Norman is claiming he shut Thomas down, but when Drew Brees goes 26/29 for 363 yards and 3 TDs on your pass defense, and you are benched at halftime, it’s hard to make an argument. It’s just a tough look.

As for DeAngelo Hall’s claim that Norman isn’t focused because he’s too busy trying to be a celebrity, that’s possible I guess. Perception is reality and that seems to be a lot of people’s perception right now.

All in all, not the greatest 24 hours for J-No. I’ve always liked him and hope he bounces back. Tough, tough last 24 hours though.
