Netflix Just Released The "Making A Murderer Part 2" Trailer And I Don't Like It

This was my worst fear when Making A Murderer Part 2 was announced: that they were going to focus on Steven Avery, the guy who’s guilty as a motherfucker.

Am I going to watch? Sure, I’ll watch. But I’m very disappointed. I wanted more Brendan crying about wrestling rather than this big idiot claiming he didn’t absolutely murder Teresa Halbach. And where the hell are my guys Dean Strang and Jerome Buting? They were the real stars of season one and we’re not even bringing them back? They did all the leg work, turned a small town murder into an international story, then we just hand the ball off to Kathleen Zellner? Fuck that! Dance with the one who brought you, hand the ball off to Marshawn on the goal line, and let the Dean/Jerome duo finish the job.

Also, I have a hard time enjoying things I know the outcome to and I definitely know that both these dudes are still in jail. During season one I never googled the case because I wanted to appreciate the journey, but now I’m very sure that they don’t get off. So every new “clue” that could “flip the case” I’m gonna yell confidently “Nope! Not enough!” like an asshole screaming the answers to a Jeopardy episode he’s already seen.

Again, I’ll watch, but this trailer seems to highlight all the things I hoped wouldn’t happen when Part 2 was announced.
