Producer Mike Dean Posted Video Of Travis Scott Performing In Front Of 20 People Five Years Ago And It's Inspirational As Hell

Goosebumps on goosebumps on goosebumps. That’s some Monday Motivation for you. Absolutely fucking awesome seeing those two videos back to back. Travis Scott awkwardly performing in front of 20 people in broad daylight on some random stage and then flip to five years later and he’s performing in front of a sold out crowd of thousands ROCKING to his music. Oh and he just performed on SNL over the weekend. Decent come up for Travis Scott. On top of all that he got to put a baby inside Kylie Jenner so everything is coming up Travis Scott these days.

It’s painful to watch the first video quite honestly. There’s nothing more awkward than the beginning of a performer’s career whether it be music or stand up comedy or whatever. Especially these days when the early days can be filmed and put on social media for everyone to see. Every other artist has gone through what Travis Scott went through in that video but you rarely see the video because most people never make it so those early days videos are all they have. Very few people go from performing in front of a bunch of disinterested people who are only there for the cheap beer to crushing it in front of thousands of people who know every word to every song. People like Travis Scott, and every other performer you love, had to wade through an ocean of awkwardness to get where they are now. It’s a testament to a guy like him for continuing to push through. Awesome videos.
