Rate This Victor Oladipo Rap Song
Ahhh, NBA players and their love of hip hop. The desire for NBA players to also be rappers/hip hop artists is certainly nothing new and honestly some are better than others. Guys like Shaq, Kobe, AI, Lonzo Ball, Iman Shumpert the list goes on and on and on. Well I don’t know if anyone else already knew this, but today was the first I heard of Victor Oladipo throwing his hat in the music ring. So I ask, how would you rate this song?
Not bad, didn’t exactly blow my socks off, but it certainly could have been way worse. I feel like this is something I would hear on Jamin 94.5 back in the day (shout out Baltazar), but if I were to rate this on lyrics and all that, it was a bit underwhelming. A catchy beat sure, but I was expecting more to be honest.
I give this a decent 6.4/10
Now, if you want to talk about the best rapper currently in the NBA, that title belongs to Damian Lillard. This dude can actually rap and both of his albums are legit bangers
Now that’s what I’m talking about. I don’t know if it’s his Oakland influence or what, but I’m a firm believer Dame could quit basketball right now and have a successful music career. If you liked what you heard and haven’t already, look up The Letter O and Confirmed on Spotify. You will not be disappointed.
So Oladipo, while I respect the attempt, Dame is still the king.
