Brooks Koepka Denies That Any Fight Or Argument Happened Between Him And Dustin Johnson After The Ryder Cup

Yahoo- In the wake of the United States’ loss at the Ryder Cup, stories burbled up about discord on the American team: first, a three-way dispute among Patrick Reed, Jordan Spieth and Jim Furyk, and later, stories from multiple outlets about a near-fight between Koepka and workout bud/playing partner Dustin Johnson. Never happened, according to Koepka. “This Dustin thing I just don’t get,” Koepka said. “There was no fight. No argument. He is one of my best friends. We talked on the phone on Monday, so tell me how we fought? People like to make a story and run with it, and it is not the first time a story has come out that is not true.” Koepka then opened the door to some more speculation.“The whole Dustin thing, it’s actually quite funny to us as we are really good friends,” he said. “There was no argument, no fight, but I’m curious who would win in a fight. It would be interesting.” (For the record, we’re taking Koepka.)

I’m a firm believer in the ol’ saying, “where there’s smoke there’s fire” and there’s a WHOLE LOT of smoke when it comes to Brooks Koepka and Dustin Johnson almost coming to blows. I get that they’re supposedly best friends but, like I said in my last blog about this, male best friends argue and fight. Female best friends undercut each other with nasty rumors and gossip while male best friends handle it with punches to the face. What would the fight be about? Well that could go in any number of directions depending on what rumors you believe.

Flip side, and I don’t wanna sound too woke on this fight that may or may not have happened, but it does say the argument took place in the Europe team room. Who’s to say someone on the European team didn’t make up this story and leak it to the media? People and the media were already ready to believe there was dysfunction on Team USA because of Patrick Reed’s comments about Jordan Spieth. Why not pile on with a supposed DJ/Brooks fight to make the team look even worse? I could 10000% see that rat fuck Ian Poulter calling up a reporter and being like, “You can’t say where you heard this, but Dustin Johnson and Brooks Koepka almost fist fought after the Ryder Cup. Paulina Gretzky may or may not have been there too. Just telling you what I saw.” I still think something actually happened between DJ and Brooks after the Ryder Cup but I’d say there’s also a 65% chance some Euro made it up to further fuck with the Americans.

PS- RNR6: DJ vs Brooks?
