Don't You Dare Try To Help A Football Player Fighting For His Life And Think The NCAA Will Let You

I know I talk about how much I hate the NCAA quite a bit. Why? Because of dumbass old rules like this. Christion Abercrombie is literally fighting for his life after collapsing in the game against Vanderbilt on Saturday.

Like any normal human being, a few GoFundMe’s popped up to help Abercrombie and his family. One was set up by the sister of Tennessee State’s head coach and the other by a resident in the Nashville injury who saw what happened. No harm right?

Don’t you dare tell the NCAA there’s no harm. Who gives a shit if he’s fighting for his life? They have to worry about his eligibility here. Think about all the cheating Tennessee State would get away with by having multiple people help Abercrombie and his family. Think about all the cheating Tennessee State would get away with if his family receives more than $250,000 to help him with medical procedures. Just pure lunacy.

This is what needs to change. Let’s use some logic here. Everyone knows this isn’t some grand scheme or anything like that. We all saw Abercrombie fight for his life after collapsing. If you want to donate click the tweet above. That’s the only approved link.

Here’s hoping to a speedy recovery by Abercrombie.
