The New Celtics Shirts Are Here And They Are Spectacular
So as some of you may know, today was my first official day full time aboard this here Pirate Ship. I learned a lot, mostly that sometimes you have to dig deep and blog bee stings and team tweets in addition to your normal basketball blog content now that I have way more time on my hands than ever before. I also learned that Walter is my favorite coworker of all time and it’s not even close. I also learned that once you get a real Barstool email address people actually hit you back. You see over the years people tweet me all the time that we need new Celtics shirts, and while I agree, it’s always hard when you have a normal Gmail account and have no idea what the actual process is. Well that’s different now, so the first opportunity I had to put out some new threads for the upcoming 2018-19 season you bet your ass I jumped at the chance.
Frankly, I love how all three of these turned out. Now I know what you’re thinking, where is Baynes on the BWA shirt. Well if you thought there was any chance I was going to leave Yabu out of that shirt you clearly have not been paying one ounce of attention since the Dancing Bear entered our lives. Of course I couldn’t leave out our young stallions, and I couldn’t be happier with how Juice and Taco Jay came out.
And look, I’m not saying you should buy all three of these as a token of your appreciation for keeping the sports in BarstoolSPORTS, but I feel like it’s a fair trade-off. Help me help you, ya know? Also, I will promise to buy a beer for anyone I see at the Garden wearing one of these (not really but maybe). As with other Celts shirts of the past (RIP Larry Bird/Brad) don’t even think of waiting because who knows if they will be retired to Barstool Tshirt Heaven at some point. This season is going to fucking rule, so you may as well look awesome while you watch.
