MMAFighting- Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov will not be traveling to Las Vegas to see his son, Khabib Nurmagomedov, take on Conor McGregor in the main event of UFC 229 on Oct. 6.

The UFC lightweight champion recently appealed to the American president, Donald Trump, via social media in an effort to gain clearance to attend the blockbuster bout. However, on Friday morning, RT.com reported that Abdulmanap was not granted a visa for the event.

Nurmagomedov’s management later confirmed the news to MMA Fighting.

Aw, shucks! That is just really unfortunate. Never wanna see a father get denied the chance to watch his son challenge for the UFC Lightweight Championship! At least his son didn’t publicly beg his boss to ask Donald Trump to help out in obtaining the visa!

Oh wait…

Oh. I guess Dana White just didn’t care.

Very embarrassing!

Anyway, I’LL be there, in support of Conor, who I clearly love more than Khabib’s father loves him. I get into Vegas on Monday. See y’all there.
