Real Red Sox-Yankees Hatred is Keeping Your Enemy's Baseball Card Up Against Your Right Ass Cheek "So The Smell And View Never Improve For Him"

Full fight

I think the Red Sox-Yankees rivalry is getting back to this point gradually now that both teams are built to dominate baseball for years to come. We had our brawl this year, which was awesome to see, but I need more of it. The fanbases fucking despise each other as you see with Jared and I, but there needs to be more bad blood like there was back in the 70s. Graig Nettles fucking despised the Boston Red Sox and you saw it in this video. He wanted to hurt Bill Lee. You don’t call the Yankees “time square hookers” and think Nettles is going to let that slide. Nope, when Lee went up to him and said “next time you do that” Nettles found it in him to punch him right in the face again. He ended up breaking Lee’s collarbone. Baseball needs more Graig Nettles.

I do respect a good grudge and Bill “Spaceman” Lee keeping Nettles baseball card in his wallet so it’s always pressed up against his ass is fantastic.

“I’m the last horse, because I’ve got Nettles’ baseball card right here in my wallet,” Lee said, pulling out the worn card. “Nettles’ baseball card is right there in my wallet. He’s up against the right cheek of my ass for eternity, and the smell and the view never improve for him.”

That baseball card won’t move until the day Lee dies. You just don’t see hatred like that in baseball these days. I wouldn’t put it past Giancarlo Stanton doing something like this with Mike Fiers, but that’s about it. We need more hated in the sport of baseball, specifically with the Yankees and Sox. If the Yanks are able to get past Oakland in the AL Wild Card Game that ALDS is going to be a goddamn war. Get me to October.
