I’ll be honest, there’s really no reason why I’m blogging this today. It’s not the anniversary of WCW Souled Out 2000, which took place in January, it’s not a date that means anything to Kevin Nash, or Terry Funk, or World Championship Wrestling in the slightest. I just saw this clip over the weekend and I couldn’t stop rewatching it and laughing my ass off, so I’m sharing it with y’all here.

This botch comes seventeen years after Terry Funk’s first retirement in 1983, and almost nineteen years later, the The Living Legend is still going strong wrestling regularly. Seriously!

As for the match itself – it was a complete shitshow throughout (as was the entire pay-per-view) – basically just expanding upon this hilarious fuck-up, with the Commissionership of WCW on the line.

Nash’s motionless distain for Funk and life itself as he’s hanging upside down, if you know his personality even a little bit, is just perfect.
