"September" By Earth, Wind, & Fire Takes Us Into The Weekend

A great week on the blog means we need a great song to take us into the weekend and considering it is now the 21st night of September, I couldn’t find a more perfect banger than this classic. Instant smiles every time it comes on as well as the perfect song to kickstart the dance floor at a wedding.

I also may have picked this song to take us into the weekend to give the Giants some of that old Bradshaw/Jacobs/Ward juju before this week’s game against the Texans. That 2008 regular season may have been the most fun I’ve ever had as a Giants fan before Plaxico’s loose sweatpant waistband unofficially put an end to it. I’d pay good money to watch those old clips of Fox playing “September” as highlights of our three-headed monster running train on people were shown. The last decade has not been nearly as fun save for an admittedly absolutely incredible Super Bowl run that I will forever be grateful for.

But that is in the past. I hope everyone remembers the 21st night of September as love was changing the minds of pretenders while chasing the clouds away.
