Completely Ridiculous How Long The Senators Ownership And Erik Karlsson Went Without Talking
Now that Erik Karlsson has finally been shipped out of Ottawa and off to San Jose, reports are starting to come out about what was really going on in the Senators organization and wow was it bad.
This has to be a joke. I can’t fathom this one bit. You’re trying to tell me, that the Senators ownership went almost a year without talking to their franchise player? What kind of franchise are they running over there? Well, I mean, I think we all know what kind of organization they are running, but what the fuck, that is insane. Talk about an awkward 10 months, too.
It really is crazy how bad these idiots screwed up in Ottawa. Think about where they were just two years ago. One game away from the Stanley Cup Finals, the best defenseman in the world and a loaded roster full of young, talented players.

Now? They are the worst team in the NHL, by far. I mean, they are basically an AHL team out there. And that isn’t to take away from the players that are there, it isn’t their fault that the Senators organization as a whole is completely incompetent. They got some great dudes on that team. But Jesus, it’s got to suck to walk into that locker room every day just knowing you are gonna get spanked at night and that your owner probably isn’t going to do anything to fix it.
I’m really not trying to be dramatic here, but shouldn’t Eugene Melnyk just sell the team? I mean, you can move the team all you want, but players still know who the owner is and aren’t going to want to go there. And again, just think how bad they butchered this team. They were one game from the Stanley Cup Finals two years ago and now we are talking about them selling the team because they are so bad/incompetent at building a legitimate team that isn’t a complete shitshow. I feel bad for hockey fans in Ottawa.
