The Weather Channel Sneaky Dropped The Most Unintentionally Funny Press Release Of All Time This Weekend

Sometimes during football weekends things get lost in the shuffle. Great moments that deserve our attention. Well this is clearly one of them. So the above video is obviously the Weather Channel’s Mike Siedel making it seem like he was fighting for his life against hurricane force winds only to have two bros stroll past him in the background. Now I assume everybody saw this already because it went crazy viral this weekend. However what may have been overlooked was that the Weather Channel actually issued an official statement regarding this unfortunate incident.

“It’s important to note that the two individuals in the background are walking on concrete, and Mike Seidel is trying to maintain his footing on wet grass, after reporting on-air until 1:00 a.m. ET this morning and is undoubtedly exhausted.”

What a quote! Hall of fame stuff here. Wet grass vs. concrete. Exhaustion from a long day of weather reporting. I fucking love it. Is there a more sensitive group of people than weather people? Always fighting for respect in a world that just refuses to give them any. You just know weatherman across the country slammed their fists on the table when they originally saw this video and were like “Damn it Mike!” One step forward two steps back for the weather community.
