Could The Jay-Z and His Queen Be Bringing The Band In Dallas Back Together?!

So, that’s Dez Bryant and Jerry Jones reunited and were smiling their asses off inside a VIP box during a Jay-Z and Beyonce concert this week. Yes, just a few days removed from #88’s epic troll of the Cowboys during their loss to the Panthers on Sunday. (I guess the blood isn’t TOO bad??)
First off, I don’t think I’d be less surprised if I saw ANY other NFL owner at a Beyonce concert. Jerry lovessss good looking women. And B is up there in the GOAT conversation when you talk about modern day performers. So, of course both Dez and Jerry are both fans.
Queen Bey, just bringing the people back together.
Secondly – like I blogged yesterday – the Cowboys offense was horrendously bad vs the Panthers on Sunday. Sure, Carolina’s defense is stacked but don’t let that distract you from the fact the Scott Linehan stinks at play calling, Dak had the worst game of his career, the O-line was sub-par and nobody on the outside could consistently get open… etc, etc. (It was ugly, folks.)

Could this mean that the band is getting back together?! Or was it just a bros night out?

We also asked if there was a chance that he could sign a new contract with the Cowboys and return to his old squad … but that’s when Dez went radio silent on us.”
I’d love to believe that Jerry saw how bad they were without a WR1 (like Dez) in this new “Dak-Friendly” scheme they’ve got going on and thought maybe, just maybe, the grass wasn’t greener on the other side of #88. Maybe dumping that ex wasn’t the best move. (We’ve all been there).
Probably more unlikely than not. But then again Jerry Jones usually makes all the football decisions inside Jerry World (even when he shouldn’t). It wouldn’t surprise me if his ole wheels starting turning and had that conversation. I mean, there’s zero chance that Jason Witten leaves the MNF football booth, but with Dez still unsigned….
And honestly, after watching that pathetic display, I don’t think I’d mind him being back on the team. Per usual of Dallas natives, I’m probably just living in the past.
RIP those type of plays for now.
At the very least, I hope Dez channeled his basic bitch moves during “All The Single Ladies” to remind everybody he’s STILL a free agent. I mean that’s drunk girl the ‘I’m still single as fuck’ anthem, right?
