They Did My Man Herm Edwards Dirty...Very Thoughtful Comments Taken Out Of Context To Make Him Seem To Be The Dumbest Man Alive.
Man you really cannot trust the media these days. Maybe some of that distrust and paranoia is real? I mean if they can do this to a guy like Herm, what would they do to the people who REALLY deserve it?
Suppose you’re not an intellectual. Suppose you’re some dumbass neanderthal or an ADD millennial jacked up on Ritalin who sees headlines or 140 character tweets for 3 seconds then just keeps on scrolling. This crosses your feed and you consume it and keep moving.
Think of how fucking STUPID this guy Herm Edwards is. He’s the coach of a D1 football team? He was an actual head coach in the NFL? Who the fuck hired this guy? Herm Edwards = dumbest man I’ve ever met. And you’ll think that forever! Poor Herm!
Now, drop the act we were doing. Be your normal self. An independent free thinker who appreciates context. Now listen to what Herm actually said.
Herm Edwards just schooled a bunch of punk kids who were sucking on their mommy’s teet when he was winning NFL games. I mean he’s talking about the exact situation that happened in the game, how they successfully took up the full 5 minutes left in the game and ended it with a winning field goal. How proud he was of his team being able to do that and how great it was that that old-school strategy still worked. I mean that’s insightful as fuck. The fad football strategy is to value the speed of your offense and how many plays you can get off – Herm just slowed things down and took it back to the old school cuz he’s an old fool who’s so cool.
I like Herm. Herm loves life and Herm loves football. Don’t treat my guy Herm like he’s some kind of dumbass moron unless he goes out there and earns it.

Everyone makes fun of this clip, and rightfully so, because it’s fucking hilarious. But as someone who works on the internet in 2018, believe me when I say, it is quite literally the single best piece of advice given out at a rookie camp since “keep a guard outside the door to make sure they don’t try to take your used condom with them.”

Full disclosure I only started blogging this because I could have sworn Jack Mac posted the original comments and I wanted to make fun of him about how he is ruining the media but he says he trashed the blog before he posted it and then I got too deep to stop so whatever just enjoy this defense of Herm Edwards.
