Dez Bryant Is Having A Day On Twitter As The Cowboys Struggle

Good Lord, the Cowboys offense was bad during the first half of the game. As I’m writing this, it’s looking better. I mean, at least they’ve made it into the Panthers territory. Which they did a grand total of ZERO times in the first half.

ZERO.

And they just scored. Zeke, baby!

Going in to the season, one of the biggest questions was how Dallas would replace Dez Bryant. He’s is still a free agent and it’s been three years since his 1300+ yd season. He hasn’t been great since then but maybe they needed him more than they thought (???). It’s early in the season (obviously), but nobody is emerging as the guy that Dak Prescott needs in the passing game. Without Dez AND Jason Witten, it’s looking pretty rough.

PS – The O-Line is clearly missing Center Travis Frederick. Fuck Guillain-Barré. My mom had it when I was a kid and it’s just an awful disease. Luckily, they caught his early and hopefully he will be able to make a full recovery.

So, naturally after watching that horrendously bad half of offense, some cowboys fans want #88 back. Dez, on the other hand, has different plans.

Shooters shoot.

FWIW, without Julian Edelman today (and for three more games), the Patriots wide receivers totaled nine catches and 83 yards.  It wouldn’t be a terrible idea to have Dez make a visit to Foxboro next week. Unless they think he’d be a locker room problem, which isn’t out of the question.

Anyway, Dez didn’t stop there. He’s currently on a little bit of a Twitter rampage. Here are the things we are learning about polarizing WR during this awful game:

1. He’s too good to beg.

2. He’s still got it. He’s demanding that respect.

3. He’s not into the TV idea.

4. He’s (wants to be) a winner. Don’t worry, he’s not bitter though.

That one hurt.

Oh, that wasn’t the last tweet? Shocker!

Story developing… (I’m begging for anything to take my attention away from this shit game. Today stinks out loud so far. At least the Pats handled the Texans this morning.)

Update: Dez Bryant has not lost his ego
