Iowa Football's 2018 Hype Video Has Me Alllllllll The Way Ready For College Football

Oh fuck yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I was excited for the Iowa football season already because it’s college football but you put Brand Banks in the hype video and now I’m ALL THE WAY READY. Great idea. Love Brad Banks more than I love a lot of my family members. People forget that Banks came in 2nd place to Carson Palmer in 2002 for the Heisman. My unbiased take is that Brad Banks should’ve won the 2002 Heisman Trophy (even though USC went ahead and blew the doors off the Hawks in the Orange Bowl that year). Anyway. Hype videos are always all the rage as we count down to the start of the college football season but there’s nothing quite like when you team drops theirs. The shots around Iowa City. The shots of Kinnick Stadium. The shots of my fellow Iowans cheering on the Hawkeyes. The voice of my childhood Gary Dolphin on the call. Goosebumps on goosebumps on goosebumps.
