Honestly good for Barney. I hold no ill will against him, I hope he does well with the Dodgers, he just wasn’t in the future plans here, not as a fringe Major League hitter. Not when Baez or Castro will be at second by the end of next year. I will say this though, I will never forget the fielding streak. 141 games in a row without an error is unreal. And I understand that that sentence alone is incredibly sad, that an errorless streak has basically been the single best moment for the Cubs these past 4 years but whatever, can’t wait to win 3 world series in a row starting in 2016
