I Learned A Fact From The US Open Last Night: Some Tennis Player's Coach Locked Him In A Closet With A Tiny Piece of Bread Until He Decided He Wanted To Practice

Last night our resident tennis blogger that we’ve always been desperately searching for to satisfy fan tennis demand, Hubbs, tweeted this:

I thought he was being sarcastic.  Like that is so over the top outrageous I just assumed it was some exaggeration because the guy was so good.

Nope, it checks out!

A 2×2 closet!  You know how small that is?  With a tiny piece of bread!  That’s more of an insult than an actual attempt at nourishment.  Mike Leach’d him.

And what happened?  He ended up top 10 in the world for almost all of his 10+ year career.  You say child abuse – yeah, maybe in pussy 2018.   20 years ago they called this “coaching.”  Turning boys into men. The good old days.
