Missing University of Iowa Student Mollie Tibbetts Found Dead

NYP- The Iowa college student who vanished over a month ago has been found dead, according to a report. Two sources told Fox News that Mollie Tibbetts’ body has been found. No more details were immediately available. Tibbetts, 20, was last seen jogging through her rural hometown of Brooklyn, Iowa on July 18 and was reported missing the next day when she didn’t show up for work at a daycare. The University of Iowa student’s disappearance sparked a massive search, with authorities receiving over 2,300 tips. 

Well that’s fucking awful. That’s the news nobody has wanted to hear since Mollie Tibbetts went missing while on a jog 5 weeks ago in Brooklyn, Iowa. Her disappearance got national attention. I’ve never seen anything quite like it. It seemed like the whole world was looking for Mollie. Everybody was hoping she’d turn up alive one day and the nightmare would end. Instead her body was discovered by authorities this morning. Just awful. I can’t even imagine what the family is going through. I read in the reports that they didn’t make any arrests so far. There aren’t many details other than that right now. There’s obviously a lot more developments to come but damn. Really shitty news to hear this morning.
