The Phillies May Actually Have A Catcher That Can Properly Hold A Baseball Bat Tonight Vs. The Red Sox

Thank. God. Not a second too soon. In the last 30 days, Phillies catchers have a .258 slugging percentage and league-worst 38% strike out rate. WOOF. They are also hitting .194 during that run. WOOF WOOF. Hopefully all-star Wilson Ramos will provide some immediate pop to this shop. .297 with 14 dingers and a .834 OPS definitely adds a nice little bat to this lineup. Not to mention he’s a defensive upgrade from Alfaro. It’s getting a little frustrating watching strikes right down the pike somehow, someway become passed balls. In fact, they may wanna throw Jorge in the pen so his absolute howitzer of an atomic cannon doesn’t go to waste on the bench. Also, watching Knapp struggle in the batter’s box this season has been frustrating, and I like Andy and his impeccable flow. Vamos de Ramos.

Kinda big game tonight with Velasquez on the hill. The Phillies are now 2 games behind the red hot Braves. TRIPLE WOOF. Can’t let things get too out of hand. Also, we got another Phillies/Red Sox viewing date night at Jared’s tonight to watch the game where we’ll live stream the last few innings. Can’t wait to Tweet out a #GoldBottles and spill more blood on his carpet. Good times.
