A Lovely Muslim Indian Actress Posted a Bikini Picture, So Naturally People Demanded She Change Her Religion

An Indian actress has been attacked by online trolls after she posted pictures of herself wearing a bikini on holiday.
Sara Khan, 29, a popular television actress, uploaded snaps of herself taken while on holiday in Goa, India, and Dubai, UAE. Many of her followers praised her appearance, however, Ms Khan, who is a Muslim, was also targeted by some who disagreed with her choice of outfit.
Fellow Muslim Instagram users slammed the fact that she posed snaps of herself in a bikini, and told her she should change religion. One person wrote: ‘I think you forget you are muslim.. You change your relegious [sic] because in Islamic relegious [sic]… These dress can not allowed.’ Another added: ‘U are Muslim fear Allah. She mite as well sell her body for doin this disgustin pics sharam Kar ur Muslim not white girl [sic].’
One commented: ‘Change your religion do what ever then shame on u Sara you was my inspiration but now I hate you Allah will give you punishment for this shame on you [sic].’
It’s insane how different the rest of the world is from us. Go through every girl’s Instagram who lives in the United States and odds are she has a handful of bikini pictures. Some just strictly go bikini. You post one of those in a place like India and you’re basically marked as a terrorist. You throw up a bikini picture and you have to change your religion? Look what some of these people said to her…

Fear Allah? What is this an episode of 24? Let’s relax, she’s just a pretty actress showing off some skin. Let’s not call on the Gods to wipe her from the planet. Religion is so fucking weird. How are people still religious these days? It’s something I simply don’t understand and never will. The fact that it’s 2018 and some women have to cover their heads and can’t show skin, or any of that is nonsense. Sara Khan, you are beautiful.
