I Just Hope That One Day Mac Gets To Have That Catch He's Always Dreamt About

Everybody grows up having a dream. Some of us dream of becoming a pro ball player. Others dream about one day becoming a doctor or a fireman. Somewhere down the line, however, those dreams eventually come to an end for most of us. Whether it be for reasons that are outside of your control or maybe you realize that dream just isn’t practical anymore. There is only a very small percentage of the human population who truly get the chance to live out their dreams.

Mac’s dream is to one day have a catch with Chase Utley.

Now Mac could have been like any other jabroni in the world and just given up on his dream to have a catch with Chase after not receiving any sort of response for a few years. But it takes some true character and an incredible amount of stick-to-itiveness to keep a dream alive even when everybody else is telling you that it can’t be done. Luckily for Mac, he stuck with his dream and never gave up. After 5 years, he finally received that response he was so desperately looking for.

While I’m sure it delivered a great deal of relief to Mac to finally hear back from Chase, unfortunately it wasn’t necessarily the answer he was looking for. While Chase Utley seemed open to the idea of having a catch with Mac, he was simply too busy with baseball to arrange something. But again–it’s not in Mac’s character to just give up on this dream. Just because he got “no” for an answer then doesn’t mean the answer will be “no” forever. And with Chase Utley announcing that he will be retiring after the end of this season, it would appear that his schedule will be wide open in the very near future. And that’s when shooters shoot.

All I’m saying is that the new season of Always Sunny comes out in November September. I think depending on how and when the postseason ends for the Dodgers this year, there’s really no reason to think that it’s not possible to squeeze a cameo appearance from Chase Utley into season 13 and Mac can finally have that catch he’s been dreaming for. However, I know that even if it doesn’t happen in this season, Mac will still keep that dream alive until the day he dies. Because bad asses never hesitate, and they never surrender. Mac is going to Thunder Gun the shit out of this catch with Chase.
