Alright, Who Is This Reddit User That's Beating Woj and Shams With NBA News

The internet is a wild place man, especially Reddit. When it comes to sports and player contracts/moves involving #fanswithsources it’s usually a disaster. Everybody knows somebody that knows somebody that is friends with the agent of Player X. As we see time and time again, whenever there’s a hot free agent or anything like that, there is some asshole with an internet connection that tries to go viral and be the first with news. Normally I am of the line of thinking that unless it comes from Stein/Haynes/Woj/Shams I usually do my best to ignore it. Well, it looks like we may have something brewing here with this user on Reddit. As that tweet states, this dude had the Kevin Love news a full day before it came out

Now I know what you’re thinking, this is just one post right? A wild guess gone right. Well he had the Marcus Smart post too

6 days ago has this post on 7/18. As we know, Marcus got his new deal on 7/19. This person also nailed the money as many of the early reports were between like 46-50M. Those reports came out on the 18th as well, so this one would be a little fishy if the exact dollar amount wasn’t put out there. Remember not even Woj/Shams had that number.

Next they had the Mike Budenholzer hiring in MIL. Now Reddit just says the post was 2 months ago, but based on what we see above, I’m going to guess this too was before the official announcement

If you go through their profile you’ll see a bunch of Seahawks news that I’m sure is also accurate. So my question is, who is this person? My first thought was maybe this was just Bryan Colangelo up to his old tricks again, but the Seahawks news sort of killed that idea. There’s also the theory to consider that since Yahoo is refusing to pay Shams a new deal and he’s about to be a free agent that maybe he’s just leaking stuff on Reddit. Doubtful, but maybe. The fact of the matter is, while the rest of us have been waiting and refreshing for every Woj/Shams bomb, maybe we need to turn our attention to this Reddit profile because they are cucking the shit out of those two. Now there aren’t that many big shoes to drop in terms of free agency, mostly just Capela, but if I were you I’d add this profile to your rotation if you’re looking for NBA news.

It would not shock me if in the next few days this Reddit user is deleted now that word is getting out. Either way, the guy/girl is nails.
