I Cannot Stop Watching This Jayson Tatum/Kobe Bryant Edit

I know it should bother me that Jayson Tatum professed his love for Kobe Bryant. But he’s young and grew up during a time where all these young players are going to list either LeBron or Kobe as their favorite player growing up. As a Celtic fan I’m already immune to this since Pierce was not shy about how he grew up a die hard Lakers fan, so I don’t put too much stock into hearing stuff like this. I will say, I’m on watch about 15,000 of this edit from Drew Hanlen and I feel like I love it more and more with each viewing. Personally I love edits like this, and I understand that it’s possible to do this with almost any NBA player and a legend (case and point this beautifully intoxicating Terry Rozier edit)

this Tatum one feels different. I dunno guys, this looks A LOT like Kobe. Like Tatum is some sort of basketball clone or some shit only better. And while I would prefer Tatum steer clear of all the off court Kobe drama, you bet your ass I am giddy at the thought that he may be able to replicate his on court achievements/production. What always blows me away about these videos is how similar the scenarios are. Like sure anyone can do an up and under or a turnaround fade, but these are a collection of plays that are 100% the same thing. It also reminded me of when Kobe did his Detail episode on Tatum, and while it does make a a little sick to my stomach that these two are forming a special bond, if the result is a handful of titles and an MVP then who am I to complain

As if this summer hadn’t provided us with enough Tatum porn, I suggest you move this to the top of your nightly personal routine. I know I have and its been incredible.
