Call Me Crazy But I Don't Think Gordon Hayward Is Thrilled To Be Having A Third Daughter

Just an absolutely hilarious video that Big Cat got circulating around Twitter this morning. Here are the Hayward’s, a wonderful family of 4, about to a family of five. Gordon, of basketball fame, is standing there with his wife and two daughters. Inside the box will reveal what they have next. Now, I assume if you’re a guy with two daughters you are really looking to have a son as your third. I say this, because of Hayward’s reaction.

First you have him pretty much avoiding the balloons like they are poison. Just refusing to touch them out of the box until his daughter hands him one and he lightly tosses it into the air. Then you have the question that Big Cat refers to in his tweet.

‘Is daddy happy?’

Oh, I don’t know. What gave it away? The avoiding of the balloons or the ‘daddy’s always happy’ response from Hayward? I’m going to lean on sure, he’s thrilled to be having a third kid but really wanted a son. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure he’s extremely happy that his wife is pregnant and everything like that, but he’s human. Guys want at least one son. It’s just part of our nature.

However, if you’re a Celtics fan, there’s a spin zone here. The leg looks pretty good considering he tries to boot one of the balloons to the moon and then holds back a bit. That’s a good sign during the offseason as you get ready to compete for a spot in the NBA Finals.

I’m shocked he didn’t just walk away with the dog though at the end. You can see the pup walking up and sort of checking the scene out and Hayward peering over at him like man, let’s just go hang out right now alone. Congrats to the happy family though, I guess?
