Nobody Has More Heart Than The Woman Who Bluffed Off All Her Chips In The First Level Of The Main Event
My god, the Main Event is just so beautiful. All you need is $10,000 and a dream. And that woman had a freaking DREAM the size of the moon. Some people like to take it easy during Day 1 of the Main. Feel things out. The blinds are low and the levels are long, there is plenty of time to pick your spots. Well her spot was ASAP and her draw was thin. But I don’t hate it. No sir, no mam. If you’re not swinging for the fences, get out of the batter’s box. Get rich or die trying. Thing is, I’m positive no matter what the turn was, even if it didn’t give him the straight draw, she was going to win this pot in her brain. She made that decision a long time before the King on the turn came. Just unfortunate she ran into the blade. At least it’s a good story though. How to burn through $10k in 20 minutes.

Reading these hand histories has me giddy to play the Main again this year. I’m playing on Wednesday. Last year was a blast, I doubled up in the first level with quads over top full house, so I’m gonna try to do that again this year.
