Kyrie Irving Is Clearly Recruiting LeBron James To The Knicks

LeBron-James-Knicks

[NBA.Com] – “MVP, it’s hard to gauge nowadays. Because now you have the people’s MVP and you have, like, the NBA’s MVP,” Irving told radio station Hot 97 in New York on Wednesday. “I think the people’s MVP was definitely James [Harden], but the NBA MVP is definitely LeBron [James].”

Well, well, well, look at what we have here. A little something I like to call recruiting at the NBA level. I mean it’s pretty much a fact that Kyrie is going to the Knicks after next season. Remember this quote?

I think they’re scared and should be scared to some degree of Kyrie Irving walking in 2019. I know he had a great year, but you know there are people in Cleveland that will tell you that the Knicks should be considered a real threat for Kyrie Irving. Because Kyrie had talked about it, about playing with the Knicks with some players in that Cleveland locker room from what I was told.

That sounds like a guy going to the Knicks. So with LeBron getting snubbed of MVP – again- he’s clearly making a case to team back up with him and save the Knicks. I mean I can already picture it now. Kyrie, Knox, LeBron, Kristaps and whoever they draft next year with a top-10 pick. Sounds like a dynasty if you ask me, let a lone a Superteam.

Kyrie knows he needs LeBron to win a title. LeBron wants to be the GOAT? Come save the franchise that needs saved the most. That would be the Knicks. It would only make sense that Kyrie is starting the recruiting process now by dropping nuggets like this. I mean it’s not even a hot take. LeBron should have won MVP this year. Trade him for Harden straight up and what team gets better? Hint: it’s not the Rockets. I believe that’s called value. That’s not even a knock on Harden. It’s voter fatigue – the same thing we saw happen with Jordan when he was playing. Those guys should win MVP every year.

But now it’s officially Knicks offseason which means I text Clem and he immediately sends me a photoshop. We’re so dumb because we do this every offseason but it’s only a matter of time before it turns out correctly for us. Right? Please say yes.
