Rate This Latest Chris Sheridan Draft Rumor

I’m sorry what? The Suns could end up with both Ayton and Doncic while still keeping Josh Jackson? I know the Hawks are pathetic, but we can’t be serious here can we? I’m not sure what to make out of Chris Sheridan, part of me thinks he does have legit sources, but the other part of me thinks he just tosses shit out there. I feel like he’s wrong about stuff all the time so I don’t want to overreact too much to this tweet.

But can you imagine? After Ryan McDonough took all that flack early in his PHX tenure, this would be a heist that makes even Danny Ainge blush. I’m just not sure they have the collateral to pull something like this off. Why would anyone want #16 and the Suns trash instead of just taking a guy who would be the best player of this entire draft? I guess maybe if this is a multiple team trade where the Hawks also get a high pick in return might work, but that seems like a stretch. A quick Twitter search tells me that nobody else is really talking about this. Now remember I just blogged that Woj already gave us the order of the Top 6, but here’s the thing with that. Just because we may know the order doesn’t mean those guys are sticking with those original teams. The deadline has long passed where now a player has to be drafted and just given a new hat after he takes his picture with the commissioner.

Either way, I’m calling buillshit on this intel, but I would love nothing more than to be wrong. This would be a big time chaos scenario, and would make PHX a league pass MUST WATCH moving forward. I guess we’ll have to wait and find out, but what say you. Do you buy this?
