Kevin Knox May Have Slipped Up And Let It Be Known That The Knicks Are Drafting Him Tonight

KNOXBOMB!!!

Hey Woj and Shams, tell me how that scoop tastes? You can get a good look at a team’s Big Board by sticking your head up a GM’s ass, but I’d rather take the prospect’s word for it. The Knicks clearly made Kevin Knox a promise that if he’s there at 9, he’s coming to New York. And I love it. Not just because I like Knox or want Reags to be over the moon happy. I do. Knox is the 2nd youngest player in the draft, he can shoot, and most importantly he went to Kentucky. If I was an NBA GM in the 2010s, I would just draft guys from Kentucky every year like NFL GMs probably wanted to draft Hurricanes in the early 2000s. I also love this because I get an extra couple of hours to talk myself into the Knicks pick before it is made. I’ve had wayyyy too many Frederic Weises and Renaldo Balkmans dropped on my head over the years to trust a Knicks pick once it’s made. But thanks to a spoiler made possible by teenager’s slip of the tongue during a live interview, I am able to get hyped about this talented, long motherfucker taking the court alongside Frankie Nicotine’s octopus arms and our 7’3″ human glitch next season*.

*Probably not next season for KP if the Knicks have a brain, which is still TBD just like this pick is to be honest. But it would be peak Knicks if a prospect’s loose lips sunk their ship as they watched another team trade up to 8 to snag Knox right in front their faces. God I love Draft Night in New York. I forget about how the possibilities for heartbreak and ridicule are endless!

And if those highlights weren’t enough, this is the cherry on top.

The Knicks are #BACK and will be a #SuperTeam once again in 2 years max!

Also it’s good to know that this unnamed team from that report straight out of a Pusha T diss track was definitely not the Knicks doing their due diligence on a prospect they love! That would be an embarrassing moment for such a classy franchise.
