Bold Strategy By An NBA Team To Try And Tell Kevin Knox He Has A Child

So we hear stories about the NFL Draft and the absurd questions asked. But, this one? Well, uh, this is a new one. Bold move trying to break the news to Kevin Knox that he has a kid that he never met. Personally, I wish they doubled down on it. If you’re going to lie about this sort of thing you need to have a name picked out. I mean all you have to say is ‘Kevin Knox Jr.,’ or something like that.

Or, crazy idea, don’t make up that he has a kid. I mean I’m sure Kevin Knox, an 18-year old, handled this better than 99% of the world. You tell someone they have a kid and see how people react. I bet it’s not as simple as ‘no, do you have a name?’ I don’t know, call me crazy, but maybe ask how he seems himself improving to get better defensively on the ball or what he’s done to improve his handle. That may be more important than making up he has a kid, but what do I know, I’m not in an NB front office (yet).
