Mo Bamba Absolutely Despises The Memphis Grizzlies

You know what? I don’t hate this move nor can I blame Mo Bamba. Memphis is a bit of a shit show right now. They aren’t ready to compete but they think they can contend in the Western Conference. Don’t get me wrong. Mike Conley is a fine player. Marc Gasol is a fine player. Dillon Brooks was an awesome second round pick last year.

The Grizzlies front office stinks right now. That’s why I don’t blame Mo Bamba for saying ‘nah, fuck it, I’m out on Memphis.’ The Grizzlies have no idea what direction they want to go in besides desperately trying to trade Chandler Parsons and his absurd contract.

The Grizzlies need to figure out whether or not they are a) staying in Memphis and b) ever going to blow this thing up to start new because the Conley/Gasol combo isn’t getting you there, especially now. Just take a wing, deal with the Parsons contract for the next two seasons and start building with Dillon Brooks and No. 4 this year. Preferably they take a wing so take Doncic if he’s there OR trade down if you can shed the Parsons’ contract and still draft one of the Bridges/Knox/Zhaire/Walker late in the lottery.
