Twenty-Three Year Old Kid Arrested For Attempting To Return $1.3 MILLION Worth Of Stolen Goods To Walmart
Source – Police in Arizona thought they were busting an ordinary case of a fraudulent return this week until some digging discovered the same 23-year-old man has perpetrated the scheme at thousands of Walmart stores across the country.
Police in Yuma, Arizona, said they responded to a case of a fraudulent return on Wednesday afternoon in which a person bringing a computer back to Walmart had allegedly removed parts of the computer before putting it back in the box and taking it back to the store.Upon investigation, the Yuma Police Department found out the same man had pulled the same scheme at a different Walmart earlier in the day.Thomas Frudaker, 23, was arrested and booked into Yuma County Adult Detention Facility.
Yuma police say Frudaker pulled similar schemes at more than 1,000 Walmart stores across the country over the past 18 months and caused a monetary loss of “approximately” $1.3 million to Walmart.
Frudaker was charged with six felonies, including two counts of theft, two counts of fraudulent schemes and artifices and two counts of criminal damage.
Ugh, this is the dream. A million dollars in the bank for doing absolutely nothing. If I could commit any crime and get away with it, it would be a return scheme. It’s victimless. Sure, the big corporations pay, but who cares? They probably have theft built into their budget anyway. If Tom hadn’t been greedy he’d be sitting on a beach in Mexico like Andy Dufresne. Instead he’s facing a laundry list of felony charges that will most likely land him in jail for a longggg time. Right as he was about to enter the prime of his life too. Instead of going out chasing boys and drinking beers with his buddies, he’ll be sitting in a cell brainstorming ways to save his butt V. Sad. I guess that’s the price you pay when you decide to become criminal.

It makes you wonder if he actually knew what he was doing? Like if someone had sat him down and said, “this is wrong, you run the risk of going to jail,” would he still have done it? Part of me wants to believe it could have been nipped in the bud. But when you look at his face you can’t help but think that he was destined for a life of crime. He looks like the type of guy who’d get in trouble for having brass knuckles at the town fair. White trash, in other words. To be completely honest I thought I recognized him from an old episode of Cops where he was getting arrested for domestic with his shirt off. Oh well, as far as criminals go he had a pretty good run. Eighteen months on the run with more than a million dollars in the bank is a hell of a haul. Too bad he has to pay it all back. Best of luck in prison, Tom. You’re going to need it.
