This Girl on America's Got Talent Went From The Shyest Person I've Ever Seen To Maybe The Best Singer of All Time in a Matter of Two Seconds

Uhh…what the hell did I just watch? I admittedly don’t care for America’s Got Talent or American Idol anymore, but holy shit! They used to be a big deal when I was a kid, but I think they’ve lost a bit of flair over the years. The only reason I ever watched Idol was for the first few shows where some of the contestants resembled the weird cast of characters we see in today’s Barstool Idol. America’s Got Talent was the shit when Regis Philbin was one of the judges. Well anyways, this little British girl couldn’t have come off any shyer, and then completely flipped the entire room on its collective head.

I almost felt bad for her for a minute because I wasn’t sure if she was going to being able to speak, never mind perform. They asked her what kind of music she liked and Courtney almost turned into a ghost for Christ’s sake. And then literally out of NOWHERE Janis Joplin appeared and started belting out Otis Redding’s Hard to Handle like this little girl came through a time machine. Her dad later said she has problems making friends and going out because she’s so shy and reclusive, but when she sings she turns into the greatest singer of all time. Go figure.

I don’t know why, but I think I’m addicted to the golden buzzer. That thing is big time. I didn’t know the origin of it at first and I thought they just declared the contest over and gave Courtney the title. I would’ve signed up for that since I don’t watch the show every week, but that golden buzzer is electric.
