Big Ev AKA The Double Vodka Don Intern Update: Johnny Football was in the office and the Interns didn't get to meet him

Johnny Football came by the office today and the interns were buzzin’. To guys between the ages of 16-25 Johnny Manziel is more than a man he is a GOD. He was the most electrifying college football player these eyes have ever seen and was the living embodiment of every young mans dream. He was dominating on and off the field. Scoring touchdowns on the gridiron and scoring with beautiful women in his spare time. The man was multifaceted. Inside sources even say he used to get girls dropped off to his house by his teammates because he was too famous to go out. Incredible. The man was gravitated too more than anyone I’ve ever seen. The kind of intangibles everyone wants from their quarterback.

We waited and waited and waited for him to come down those stairs and bust through the second floor door like the superstar he is. I was turning around at my desk approximately every five to ten seconds every single time the door opened behind me. Waiting for a man just under 6 feet tall with a beaming ray of light coming from him. Unfortunately for the interns, that time never came and none of us got to meet him or even see him in person. Amazing I know considering he was in the same building as us for HOURS. But that’s just intern life for ya. You have to earn the right to meet your favorite athlete/celebrity when he/she comes by the office. I could have walked up those stairs from the second to the third floor and taken a peek at the Heisman trophy winner. But did I? No, Because I have something called “discipline”. Did I want to go up to him and give him a hug and tell him I loved him and ask for a picture? You bet your ass I did. But I’m a team player and I highly doubt El Pres wanted one of his interns giving Johnny Football a big ole bear hug (That’s all I give I can’t help it) and potentially crippling Comeback SZN. Honestly it says a lot about our character as a group. Every single one of us wanted more than anything to meet Johnny Football. But we kept it together as a unit and battled the urge to meet our hero. It was like trying to hold off a bunch of hungry lions from devouring a gazelle. But we knew it was our civil duty to not embarrass the company and act like weirdos. Now don’t mind me I’ll just be sitting here counting down the days until he returns. (I have no idea when he will actually be returning)
