WWE Commentator Corey Graves Danced All Over CM Punk's Grave Last Night In A Bizarre Tweetstorm

Following CM Punk’s loss at UFC 225 last night, WWE commentator and former professional wrestler Corey Graves went on an ex-girlfriend-esque rant for the ages. Citing Punk as one of his former best friends, Graves claims the Straight Edge Superstar completely wrote him out of his life for simply remaining associated with World Wrestling Entertainment after Punk walked out on the company. To say Corey was happy to see Punk get his ass beat last night would be an understatement.

Immediately, a few things come to mind. One – what the hell is up with that comment about trusting Punk to hold your first son before you? Is it a big deal that you trusted a grown-ass man to hold your baby? Would someone you didn’t trust to hold your baby throw it out the window or something? I don’t know what that’s all about. Two – no, Corey, you won’t fight CM Punk. You had to retire from professional wrestling due to your extreme concussion history. Stop it. Three – if Graves did fight CM Punk, it wouldn’t go too well for him…AT ALL. I understand that he may have some experience in street fights or whatever, but I think everyone is failing to realize that Punk has been training his ass off for years at one of the best mixed martial arts gyms in the world. He would fucking destroy your average joe off the street.

Finally, I get that Punk has been a complete and total dickhead to virtually every friend he’s ever had. He has written everyone that’s ever supported him (outside of his wife) out of his life just because they have some sort of connection to the professional wrestling industry. It’s real shitty. I also have no idea how close Graves and Punk were, because before last night, I’d never heard either mention the other’s name literally ever. Clearly they was pretty dang close if Punk was worthy enough to hoist Baby Graves…but Corey – why did you think this tweetstorm was the way to go? Who does this help? What does this do? I’m just a bit baffled at the thought process behind the whole thing, honestly. Was he drunk? High? Who knows.
