I'm So Jealous That Giannis Antetokounmpo Just Tried His First Corn Dog

Can you imagine the thrill of trying some of your childhood favorites again? Could you imagine stepping up the oven with your mother and father and saying, “turn that mother fucker up to 425 and lets get to pre-heating.”

Once you’ve pre-heated the oven, you get to try something for the first time. What do you try? My goodness! The options are endless. Everything can taste new again. What do you try? As for me, here’s my picks.

1. Grilled cheese with turkey

Nothing like a good ole grilled cheese and turkey. Lots of people will say that you dont need the turkey but I’m a growing boy and would hate to omit the protein-packed flavor of this lean meat.

2. Hot dog with mustard

Oh the money you would save if you could fall in love with these tubes of meat as an adult. 3 meals for 5 bucks is unbeatable. Shoutout Frankie four dogs.

3. Fish sticks

Fish sticks were my favorite when I was little but I’d hate to be hooked on them now. The reason? There’s simply no way to microwave fish sticks. You gotta bake them and sometimes I’m hungry now and dont wanna wait 18-22 minutes.

4. Peanut Butter and Jelly.

I eat peanut butter and jellies all the time still but I was OBSESSED with them when I was a child. Now I fancy them up with crunchy peanut butter and a nice blackberry jam on some high-quality bread. If we are re-discovering childhood foods, this might be at the top of the list even though I have them at the bottom of the list.

5. A dessert option:

Goodness gracious. To fall in love with these bad boys again would be a delight. Now I want ice cream but my adult taste buds have developed a love for the Baked Brie with Almond Ricotta Macaroons from Loblolly Creamery in Arkansas, but I simply dont have time for a trip to the Natural State right now. Maybe next month I will. That would be incredible. It’ll be hotter in july and that creamy brie will take my breath away like tasting a corndog for the first time.
