THE CAPITALS ARE GOING TO THE STANLEY CUP FINAL!!!!!

OH MY GOD THEY DID IT! The Washington Capitals are going to the Stanley Cup Final! They were down 2-0 against the Blue Jackets, they got the Pittsburgh monkey off their back, and they fought back against Tampa Bay in this series and the Lighting in Game 7 in their building.. They sit 4 wins away from hoisting the cup and erasing all of the talk that they can’t win the big one. Alex Ovechkin was a man possessed in this game scoring within the first 2 minutes, Bura was a freak, and again, Holtby stood on his head showing that he is one of the best goaltenders in the league with back-to-back shutouts to send the Caps into the finals. Onto Vegas they go for Game 1 vs their old nemesis, Marc-Andre Fleury. You have to be happy for Ovi and the rest of the guys, it really is #OurYear. They know this isn’t the end goal, they want 4 more wins.
