Smelly, whose real name is Kelly Trotta, is the ultimate hype woman. She got her start on social media and at Barstool as Moobie’s right-hand woman after Dave Portnoy offered her a job weeks before her college graduation, halting her plans to become a fifth-grade special education teacher. Before Barstool, Smelly attended Marist University, where she met Moobie as Division I lacrosse teammates. On the team, Smelly was a top-10 Marist all-time career leader in points, a three-time captain, and the point leader in the MAAC conference during her junior year. Now, Smelly has gone from helping Moobie with her content behind the scenes to creating content of her own. She has joined Moobie and content creator Rae on their new show In The Slot, where Smelly balances maintaining her relatability while sharing one-of-a-kind stories—like how she caused a plane to make an emergency landing, how she sleeps in the shower, or how she had to be rescued by a search party after getting lost in the woods. Smelly is also a host of the semi-weekly live show Fish Bowl. With her "glass always full" approach to life, Smelly takes pride in being the ultimate cheerleader for the people in her life, and she’s never short on the energy to do it.
